In part one, REQ intern Sabrina Baker interviews Greg Ehlers, exploring his background and insights about our company, REQ Consulting.

Through his numerous accomplishments over the years, Ehlers has built an exceptionally distinguished and impressive resume. He began his finance journey at the University of Montana, moved on to work on Wall Street, and even ran for Senate in Connecticut in 2016. Ehlers furthered his education by obtaining a master’s degree in law from Pepperdine University. Beyond his numerous professional achievements, he has also devoted himself to being a loving and attentive father to his children, ensuring that his personal life reflects the same level of commitment and excellence as his career.

REQ Consulting is fueled by Ehler's passion for storytelling, assisting others, and constantly seeking new challenges. His extensive accomplishments have paved the way for this venture, providing him with valuable lessons along the journey yet remains committed to continuous growth and learning, always aiming to achieve greater heights.

When asked the question, “Can you list any major milestones or turning points in your career journey so far?” Ehlers replied with his two-sense on starting a business despite challenges while also stating that, “You have to accept that you’re going to fail, and failure is what provides success in the long term.” This question created the opportunity and ability for Ehlers to speak on the significance of persevering through an obstacle as well as learning from it. From a CEO standpoint, Ehlers shares an abundance of positive advice and feedback in order to be successful in future endeavors because he believes that by sharing stories, we can do just that.

Outside of his successes, Ehlers engages in outdoor activities such as hiking, waterskiing, and wake surfing, which enhance his overall well-being. Immersing himself in nature allows him to reconnect with the environment, providing a fresh and insightful perspective on life.
