Who is Jackie Harrison? Meet REQ Consulting’s Chief Operating Officer and the next guest on our series “Meet the Team.” This interview provides REQ Consulting’s social media followers with an insightful introduction to Jackie Harrison, highlighting her crucial role in our organization. With a background in project coordination, marketing, education, and undergraduate research methods, Harrison brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. She holds multiple degrees from the University of Alabama and has accumulated years of experience in various roles within the marketing industry. As our COO, Harrison plays a crucial role in ensuring all employees remain focused and aligned with the company's goals, fostering a productive and cohesive work environment.

Harrison initially applied for a marketing position at REQ Consulting, but CEO Greg Ehlers quickly recognized her overqualification and multifaceted experience, offering her the position of COO. Since then, Harrison has been involved in the hiring process of new employees, facilitating meetings, scheduling the company’s agenda, and maintaining the overall flow of client and employee relationships. As she puts it, her role is to “make the operations work.” Although new to the consulting world, Harrison has seamlessly transferred her extensive familiarity and qualifications into her current position.

As a goal-driven professional who dedicates her time to the company while also managing rental properties, starting a new business with her husband, and being a full-time mother to three children, makes her exceptionally busy and dynamic. Working at REQ Consulting has enabled Harrison to leverage her current valuable skills and develop new competencies applicable to sales and higher-level people management. In discussing her professional and personal motivations, Harrison remarks, “I can see how we can make differences, small differences, big differences, on a personal level and then through the consulting firm as well on a professional level to impact all of the people that we touch.” Her diverse skill set and strong leadership make her an indispensable asset to REQ Consulting, driving our mission forward with innovation and strategic foresight. 

With a master's degree in education from the University of Alabama, 14 years at the University, 6 years in marketing, and successful roles as a business owner and COO, Harrison exemplifies excellence across diverse domains. Her commitment to making a better world for the future is additionally matched by her dedication as a caring wife and mother of three children.
